I joined Universal at a pretty thrilling time. Epic Universe was about to open its gates as the first new stateside theme park in 20+ years. Universal Horror Unleashed was conjuring a year-round haunted experience on the Las Vegas strip. And Universal Kids Resort promised to bring colorful characters and oodles of fun to the Lone Star State. Even more thrilling: getting to work on these incredible products and more, leveraging our full capabilities as an active film and TV production studio and resources as a small-but-mighty in-house agency to bring thrill-igniting work to life.

As lead writer supporting the launch of Universal's first theme park made just for kids, I honed the brand's voice and developed oodles of messaging to tell the story of Universal Kids Resort's character-filled lands and kid-first ethos.

Discover Universal introduces the world to our brands through scripted, click-and-share-worthy content. For our hotel-oriented travel show, Checked In, I wrote explainer video scripts that distilled pages of complex business input into something worth checking out. Nearly 8,000,000 times, it seems.
Holiday Reels featuring The Grinch
To promote our unique Holiday offerings on Universal's social channels, we reimagined The Grinch as a fledgling content creator. I concepted and wrote a series of Reels that saw The Grinch unbox a lookalike, perform his late-morning routine, and yes — steal Christmas.
